About the Position
IDC is looking for an analyst with significant experience in enterprise mobility to help drive the continued development and success of its European Enterprise Mobility program. The role is based in the UK at our London office and may involve some foreign travel, primarily in Europe or in the U.S.
The successful candidate will report to the head of IDC's enterprise group in the EMEA Telecoms and Networking team. This is a full time, highly visible position that will suit an ambitious, dedicated, and internationally-minded professional who is seeking an exciting career development opportunity in a global firm and within the dynamic and continuously expanding information technology market.
There are three key aspects to the role:
(a) shape and create content for the Enterprise Mobility stream in this program;
(b) deliver consulting projects and speaking engagements;
(c) ensure that IDC continues to be a thought leader in this space. This role will require a deep understanding of enterprise mobility, how it is transforming, and opportunities in relation to key market developments.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer relationship skills and will be eager to contribute to the continuing expansion of our client base and business across the region.
We are looking for a self-motivated person who can work independently, while working in a cooperative environment with other team members, both in Europe and as part of our global research groups.
The successful candidate will ideally have at least a Bachelor's degree in business management, international business, information technology, economics or science, and a minimum of 8 years of industry experience. He/she will possess excellent analytical and communication skills and be eager to support and directly contribute to IDC's portfolio and business.
