    About the position

    A commercially-focused, hands-on Marketer who understands the importance that Marketing plays to develop sales pipeline and customer retention.  The role requires strong Marketing capabilities across all mediums who can work within a small team but have maximum impact to the business. 

    Responsibilities

    The main responsibilities to include but not limited to the below:

     

    Sales Enablement/ Marketing         

    • Maintain, update, communicate and deliver on the UK/Ireland marketing plan  
    • Communicate internally around the plan (presentations to sales teams and relevant IDC Line of business)
    • Implement the Marketing plan. Track and measure all activities & ROI
    • Support develop Sales pipeline and lead generation
    • Work with the UK Sales team to provide timely sales opportunities.
    • Add to and build UK prospect database

    Activities include:

    • Webcasts, executive client briefings & executive client dinners
    • UK Website - updated weekly
    • Maintain webpages around key IDC expertise and portfolio - updated quarterly.
    • Provide support & marketing guidance to the sponsored and custom events team where required
    • Direct mailing campaigns to promote IDC expertise and portfolio 
    • Manage videos featuring lead analysts - IDC YouTube and other relevant vehicles to market
    • Social media initiatives from marketing plan - implement
    • Monthly internal newsletter – information to the business on key activities: special studies,  projects launched or sales opportunities
    • UKI Customer Survey - Execution & Promotion (post- survey analysis) 
    • Co-ordinate standardised sales proposal templates in collaboration with PS&T and Design.
    • Product Marketing Management - keeping track of research portfolio for the region, gathering and putting together collateral – annual  
    • IDC product Fact sheets – annual update

    Qualifications

    • Experience of SFDC or similar CRM systems
    • Experience of webcast systems (webex/On24 etc)
    • Knowledge of social tools/SEO
    • Knowledge of social media marketing activities/ platforms/vehicles
    • Knowledge of basic HTML
    • Video editing

    Preferred Qualifications

    Degree holder

    Ideally qualified from Chartered Institute of Marketing.

    Knowledge on operating CRM systems and webcast systems.
