Sales bookings

Sales bookings achievement in line with monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Responsible for achieving all personal monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets by means of generating and closing new sales and renewal of existing accounts.



Account Management

Establishing a sales pipeline that will enable sales targets of existing and new accounts to be met each month.

Establishing an account plan that establishes a high call rate and meetings of client contract that achieves a strong pipeline.

Develops and maintains strategic account plans—Balances the pursuit of immediate opportunities with long-term, more strategic account planning; adapts strategic account plans as required to leverage to new developments or changing circumstances.

Current and accurate sales database updating in CRM to ensure availability of accurate up-to-date information for pursuit of growth opportunities and for reporting to stakeholders

Develop winning proposals based on client requirements.

Nurtures, grows, and maintains existing accounts by monitoring, measuring, and ensuring customer satisfaction; leveraging existing contract for up-selling and cross-selling opportunities; actively troubleshooting and resolving issues; countering competitive threats; and expanding customer network and champions.



Customer Service

Solution based sales with IDC clients.

Responsible for ensuring that the customers’ needs are understood within IDC through the development of working relationships with clients and prospects

Maintains customer satisfaction and resolves customer complaints—Acts as the accountable individual for resolving customer issues (for example, order or service fulfillment and product quality), advocates for the customer within the organization, and strives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Builds, nurtures, and extends client business relationships—Widens the breadth and depth of account presence and frames sales messages in terms of the client’s business needs rather than product features and benefits.

Expansion of contacts in existing IDC client organizations.




  • 3 - 5 years external experience with proven consultative sales, preferably experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with evidence of prior success in Sales.
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within medium and large organizations
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Sales CRM or SFDC
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (C-level)
  • Ability to develop compelling proposals that adhere to client need; mapped to IDC capabilities
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Language requirements as determined by territory needs
  • Bachelors degree, with strong evidence of success in school
