Overview

This position is created to accelerate the growth of IDC in Turkey. The candidate will work with the Turkey Senior Sales Manager and the MEA Regional Sales Lead. He/ She would also be required to collaborate with the other relevant members of the IDC team to support our rapidly growing business in area of research and consulting services.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business demand for the below mentioned services within Turkey.

 

      • IDC Syndicated research services
      • IDC Bespoke research and consulting services and engagements
      • IDC go-to-market services
      • IDC Conferences/Events

 

  • The role requires the candidate to prepare proposals, sales collaterals, for existing and prospective clients;
  • The candidate will be required to complete all the sales steps including and not limited to cold calling, initiating contact, positioning of IDC product services, creating of proposals and required sales collaterals, presenting and client management, negotiations and end to end client satisfaction.
  • The holder of the position will maintain close contact with IDC's clients and will be responsible for client satisfaction.
  • Maintain effective working relations with local, regional and WW IDC analysts and IDC global sales operations;
  • Responsible for the overall sales funnel, creation of sales reports as required and ensuring fulfillment of all sales booking and revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • University Degree; preferably in a scientific, economic or managerial field of study.
  • 4-6 years of experience in direct Sales and Account Management within ICT Services and/or Consulting and/or Research. Consulting Sales, ICT Service Sales and/or Demonstrable Consultative Sales experience is a plus and strongly desired.
  • Strong domain skills with regards to ICT understanding.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Strong MS-Office skills are absolutely critical. The candidate will be required to do extensive work on proposal and collateral presentations and documents. 
  • Native Turkish speaker and fluent command over written and spoken English.
  • Teamwork capabilities are fundamental. Flexibility, initiative, and problem solving are also required.
  • The candidate should be used to working by themselves in a standalone office and must be a self-motivated self-starter.
  • The candidate should be a dynamic and enthusiastic person geared towards commercial thinking and business opportunity, with self-confidence and the ability to work under pressure and cope easily with change.
