About the position

IDC is looking to recruit a Senior Research Analyst, to cover the European market for mobile telecoms services. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ experience as a tech industry analyst, with sound skills in numerical analysis, writing and client presentation.


The successful candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, eager to learn and work within a dynamic research area and analyst team.


Main duties will include:

  • Maintaining, updating and developing IDC’s market forecast model for European mobile services, and producing custom data cuts from the model as required
  • Day-to-day management of IDC’s subscription product covering mobile services research, including tasks such as maintaining the publication schedule, producing material for the Marketing department and supporting sales/business development efforts
  • Writing short (6-12 pages) topic-focused reports, for publication in the subscription product
  • Presenting the results of iDC’s mobile-related research to clients of the subscription product


The successful candidate will have a technology, economic or business background and experience in IT market research, business or technology consulting, or product marketing.
