Overview

Due to ongoing expansion of the IT market in the Middle East & Africa region, we are looking for a Research Analyst for SW business unit to be based out of our Cairo office. The position will support research and consulting activities in the Middle East & Africa region and will also work in projects in Egypt. The person we are looking should be passionate about the technology and have qualitative and quantitative skills to make detailed market assessments and to provide strategic guidance to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting primary and secondary research on the software and IT market in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey region.
  • Authoring and publishing reports on software market technologies and IT market trends.
  • Engaging in bi-annual update of software data for various markets in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey
  • Ensuring timely delivery of research and consulting engagements

Qualifications

Successful candidate should be currently based in Egypt.

 

  • 3 years work experience in technology market research or market research in general.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
  • Should be able to undertake primary and secondary research activities for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey region.
  • Strong writing, excel and advanced presentation skills
  • Should be solutions oriented and focused on providing quality results.
  • Should be comfortable with travelling in the Middle East , Africa and Turkey and being part of a remote team environment.
  • Should be able to balance multiple ad-hoc engagements.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Passion for technology is a good to have.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, market research, economics or technology. Masters are a good to have.
  • Should be fluent in English and Arabic. A third language would be a plus.
